JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Authorities are investigating a deadly crash on Interstate 295 at J. Turner Butler Boulevard.
The two-car crash killed two people and injured four others, including a 5-year-old girl.
Police responded just before 12:30 a.m. Monday. The crash closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 295 until about 8:45 a.m.

There were five people in a Toyota SUV pulling a trailer, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report.
The driver of a Ford 500 hit a concrete wall and collided with the SUV and trailer. The crash caused the Toyota and trailer to overturn, troopers said.
The man in the car is at the hospital being treated for minor injuries.
Two passengers were ejected from the SUV and died: a 39-year-old man, who hasn't been identified, and Quillermina Cruz, 42. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the FHP.

Three other passengers in the SUV were also hurt. Antonio Simon, 31, is being treated for serious injuries and Samuel Cruz, 21, and a 5-year-old girl are being treated for minor injuries. The 20-year-old driver of the SUV was not hurt.
Charges are pending.
