CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — Three people accused in the shooting death of a Clay County teenager appeared Monday morning in Clay County Court.
U.S. Marshals are now assisting in a regional search for a fourth suspect who has been on the run since the teen was killed early Sunday morning.
Taurean Johnson, 28, Jordan Tyler Coleman, 20, and Alexandra Schreffler, 21, were arrested Sunday night after deputies found Kolton Shearer, 18, dead and another man injured at a gas station.
The second victim was shot in the leg and taken to Orange Park Medical for treatment. He is in stable condition, according to hospital staff.
Family released a statement about Shearer:
Kolton was an all-American boy who loved the outdoors, fishing, the beach and his family. He had a passion for baseball and excelled academically. He was looking forward to becoming an engineer as that was his life-long dream."
The three suspects face felony murder and robbery charges. The judge ordered no bond for all three.

Johnson, Coleman and Schreffler are scheduled to be back in court on Aug. 12.
Schreffler has been visibly upset since her arrest, and showed the same emotion in court. Action News Jax confirmed with authorities that she is on suicide watch.
Action News Jax’s Kaitlyn Chana spoke with the best friend of one of the young murder suspects who is already in custody. Kayla Salazar said she’s stunned over the news that her closest childhood friend Alexandra Schreffler, might be involved in this crime.
“She’s my best friend and I love her,” Salazar said.
Deputies said Schreffler was staying at the house with suspect Jordan Coleman. Salazar said there’s a different side to these suspects.
“She (Alexandra Schreffler) always has the best advice, but doesn’t know how to take her own. But, she sure does know how to give it,” Salazar said.
The person deputies said is on the run is 22-year-old Ozell McNabb Jr. We’ve been digging into his criminal history and found out he was charged with conspiracy to commit unarmed robbery in 2012. We also found several drug-related charges. People who know him say there’s a different side of McNabb.
“He never seemed like he would do anything like this and Ozell, I mean, I didn’t even know he could even hurt a fly,” a neighbor said.
Deputies said this started as a robbery attempt at this home where shots were fired. The three victims tried to escape and went to a Kangaroo gas station looking for help. Action News Jax went to Taurean Johnson’s house and briefly spoke with his father about if he thought his son was involved.
“I don’t know. I can’t tell you ‘nothing when I don’t know ‘nothing about it,'" said Taurean Johnson’s father.
Coleman's father told Action News Jax he's disgusted and sickened by what happened. He believes his son did not pull the trigger.
"I'm sick over it," he said.
Coleman's father said his son is not a killer and was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
He said Coleman has a 1-year-old son.
