ORIGINAL STORY: Police in Duval County say neighbors will not be able to reach first responders by dialing 911.
Just after noon, The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Atlantic Beach Police Department, and the Jacksonville Beach Police Department all reported that 911 and non-emergency dispatch lines are down - and it appears to be an issue county-wide.

Officials are working to get the issue fixed.
According to Jacksonville Beach Police, the line just rings if you dial 911.
