Action News Jax source: JSO officer's husband could be connected to burglary
A source tells Action News Jax the officer's husband is also connected.
Bruno Bego is a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune. He's in custody in North Carolina, facing a charge of being a fugitive from justice. According to court records, Bego is married to Jourdin Bego – her JSO cruiser was stolen last week. We found her name listed in a police report in court records.
Police say Bego was on vacation when her cruiser, two department issued guns, a personal shotgun and a bulletproof vest were stolen. In the report, it mentioned her husband left the Westside home a day after she left for vacation. Police arrested three people in the burglary and theft of the JSO cruiser. A source said Bruno Bego could soon be joining them.
Action News Jax reached out the State Attorney's Office to see if there is a warrant out for Bruno Bego. We are still waiting to hear back.
We reached out to JSO, and a spokesperson responded and said, "Warrant information is considered active criminal intelligence."
