Alice Cooper headlines another busy weekend in NE Florida

Concerts, conservative speeches, corn mazes make up October events.

Jacksonville, Fl — October continues to be an active month of events throughout NE Florida. As Halloween fast approaches, weekends at Amazing Grace Farms and Sykes Family Farm are crowded with families and fall fun.

Alice Cooper returns to Jacksonville for a Saturday performance at Daily’s Place. Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley opens the show. Alice Cooper last performed in Jacksonville in 2018 at the Florida Theatre.

Hamilton continues through October 17th at the Times Union Center with multiple shows throughout the weekend.

Turning Point Live with David Jeremiah will be Thursday at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

Friday features multiple concerts. Zac Brown Band performs at Daily’s Place. Shinedown will be at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Master P will perform at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

Saturday features live local music at Blue Jay Listening Room in Jacksonville Beach. John Legend performs Saturday night at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.

Saturday from 10am - 2pm there will be a health fair and vaccination event at the Clanzel Brown Community Center on Moncrief Road to encourage Black communities in the area to get vaccinated.

The American Freedom Tour, presented by the Duval County Republican Party, will be Saturday and Sunday at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.

Repticon will be at the Prime Osborn Convention Center Saturday and Sunday.

The Jaguars will seek their first win of the season against AFC South rival Tennessee. The game will kick off Sunday at 1pm on CBS 47.

The inaugural Furyk and Friends PGA Tour Champions events will be at Timuquana Country Club. 81 players are competing for a $2 million purse at Timuquana Country Club. The event will help raise money for a number of local charities.
