JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Several organizations are partnering up to help people apply for thousands of jobs that Amazon is bringing to Jacksonville.
Transforming Communities Community Development Corporation said Amazon is hiring 4,000 new employees for one of its new fulfillment centers near Interstate 295 and Duval Road, set to open in North Jacksonville in the fall.
Several events will be held at different locations on Wednesday and Friday, helping those who don't have internet access apply for the jobs. Representatives will also be on hand to assist.
