ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement released a timeline of Tuesday night's Amber Alert.
St. Johns County Sheriff's Office public information officer Sgt. Catherine Payne is being charged with kidnapping a minor.

She and her husband, Florida Highway Patrol trooper Phillip Payne, are going through a divorce.
- After 5 p.m.: Phillip Payne filed an emergency motion when he found out Catherine Payne had picked up their 6-year-old son from school Tuesday
- 6:45 p.m.: St. Johns County called to request an Amber Alert
- 7:49 p.m.: Amber script fax blast. Fax sent to alert broadcasters and EAS partners first that an AMBER Alert is coming.
- 8:02 p.m.: EAS activated
- 8:05 p.m.: St. Johns County called to cancel the AMBER Alert.

Deputies in Nassau County arrested Catherine Payne Tuesday night.
Investigators said she took her son there for dinner.
FDLE spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger told Action News the Amber Alert was in the middle of the roll-out process when it was canceled. The full roll out (email alerts and electronic billboard notifications) takes about an hour, said Plessinger.
