Jordan Pilarski, a pastry chef at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, won Food Network’s "Spring Baking Championship" for season three.

Through seven episodes of the reality competition show, Pilarski ranged from being in the bottom two competitors to wowing the judges with his artistic creativity.

The show culminated in a finale competition with only three of the nine participants battling to be named the top baker and walk away with $50,000.

Out of nine bakers participating in the show, Pilarski, 22, was the youngest, competing against more experienced pastry chefs and bakers.

Pilarski attended Johnson and Wales University, majoring in baking and pastry after he attended a cooking and baking seminar at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando during a Thanksgiving vacation with his family.

The season three winner has no plans for the cash prize other than buying something for his mother, because “I promised it on live television, so now I’m thinking about that. Other than that, I think I just want to … be smart with it,” he recently told FoodNetwork.com.
