NORTHEAST FLORIDA — Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says an arctic cold front will pass by Friday night and give way to a cold weekend - the coldest air we have felt in years. Bedenbaugh says an inland freeze will occur Saturday morning.
Highs Saturday afternoon will only be in the 40s with a stiff wind too.
An inland hard freeze is likely on Sunday morning with feel-like temperatures dipping down to the mid to upper 20s. Wind chills will be in the teens. A light freeze will likely make it all the way to the beaches.
Another light inland freeze for Monday morning before we see some milder mornings under some sunny skies.
