A new retail complex is coming to the Regency Square Mall in Jacksonville.

It's the plan of International Décor Outlet, which believes the renovation of the 100,000 square-foot complex will revitalize the mall's mostly vacant spaces. The complex will be in the west end of the mall, which is currently closed off.

The company announced the launch Friday and plans to call it "Asian Town." The complex will have a mix of retail, restaurants and entertainment spots. Several stores will be open by April 6.

Captain's Catch will be one of the restaurants in the space that will serve Asian-inspired and American cuisines.

IDO said the commerce area will create a cultural center for Jacksonville's growing Asian community. This complex will be the first Florida location for the company.

Up to 300 new retail jobs will be created at this location, IDO said in a press release.

The company said it hopes to provide customers with a chance to purchase items from around the world at affordable prices.
