Nice Autumn weather pattern continues

Temperatures in the upper 70s today, low humidity.

Jacksonville, Fl — We’re in for a really pleasant week of weather after the storminess of Ian and what was also a nice weekend. Action News Jax Meteorologist Corey Simma says the mornings will stay pretty cool.

“Either side of about 60 degrees each morning. And the afternoons while we will be below average through about Wednesday, we start to warm up a little bit by Thursday and Friday with mostly sunny skies every day.”, said Simma.

There’s also no rain in the picture for this week. High temperatures will only reach into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees the next several days.

We turn warmer by Thursday and Friday but remain dry. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s, which is near average for early October.

TROPICS: Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we’ll need to watch the Caribbean over the next 1-2 weeks for possible tropical development. It’s still way too early to get into any details but indications are that a tropical system may try to slowly develop then move some form of northward.

And a tropical wave over the E. Atlantic may try to organize some while moving west to west/northwest, but the wave will not be able to make it all the way across the Atlantic.
