MARION COUNTY, Fla. — The remains of a missing mother from Marion County, Florida, Casei Jones, and her four children have been found in Georgia. Casei Jones' husband, Michael Jones, has been arrested and may face murder charges, according to authorities.
UPDATE Sept. 18 5 p.m.: Michael Jones has been extradited back to Florida. The Marion County Sheriff's Office walked Jones into the jail Wednesday around noon. - Watch the full report on Action News Jax CBS47 at 6.
UPDATE Sept. 17 7:30 p.m.: The Marion County Sheriff's office says Jones is cooperating with investigators in interviews.
Deputies say he has shown no remorse.
Right now the State Attorney's Office and Marion County are awaiting autopsy results to confirm how the children died before pressing additional charges.
The Sheriff's Office also believes Jones may have used Casei's phone after she died to keep up a rouse that she was still alive but not feeling well.
Investigators obtained search warrants for both cell phones and a search warrant of the van.
Jones has no past criminal history in Marion County, and police were never called to their home.
He remains in the Brantley County Jail awaiting extradition.
UPDATE Sept. 16 4 p.m.: The Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods held a news conference in reference to a missing mother and her four children.
Woods said the husband, Michael Jones, was found in Brantley County, Georgia after wrecking his car with his wife's body inside.
Woods said, "We have identified her, because my detectives have tirelessly been working for the past 24 hours to find her."
Woods said, "After interviews, after everything at the scene, it has lead that we have finally located the remains of all four children."
The Brantley County Sheriff's Office said Jones admitted to hiding other bodies in the woods before the car crash. Charlton County police found bodies in the woods and those bodies will be transported to the GBI Medical Examiner's Office were identifications can be made, according to authorities.
Woods said, "What I can assure you is the hard work of my detectives, of putting stuff together, to ensure that this person returns to my jail and will serve, justice will be served upon him. Now as far as I'm concerned, as the Sheriff of this county, underneath the jail ain't good enough."
Update Sept. 16 3:45 p.m.: The Brantley County Sheriff's Office reports that it received a call regarding a single-vehicle crash, and when they responded they made contact with the driver, Michael Wayne Jones Jr.
While speaking with Jones, deputies smelled a foul odor, and Jones told them, "You may want to put me in handcuffs because there is a dead body inside the vehicle," according to police.
BCSO investigators along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation revealed that Jones admitted to concealing other bodies just prior to the crash.
Charlton County police were notified and responded to bodies found in a wooded area off Highway 301.
The bodies will be transported to the GBI Medical Examiner's Office were identifications can be made.
The investigation is ongoing.
Update Sept. 16 11 a.m.: Marion County Sheriff's Office detectives have confirmed that they have located and identified the body of Casei Jones near Brantley County, Ga.
Detectives are continuing their investigation regarding the missing children.
Jones' husband, Michael Wayne Jones Jr., 38, has also been located in Georgia and is currently being questioned in connection to her death.
At this time, a warrant has been issued for his arrest for 2nd Degree Homicide.
Casei Jones, 33, and her four children; Cameron Bowers, 10, Preston Bowers, 5, Mercalli Jones, 3, Aiyana Jones, 1, were last seen approximately six weeks ago in the local Ocala, Fla. area.

Jones' family and friends have not seen or heard from her during those six weeks and are concerned for her well-being. She may be driving a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with the Florida tag 91SEJ.
