JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Blake Bortles is preparing to play his first full game in front of the home crowd at EverBank Field but he'll do so without a full complement of weapons.
Practice Wednesday at the Florida Blue Practice Fields featured the return of wide receiver Ace Sanders but teammate Cecil Shorts III sat out after re-injuring his hamstring on Sunday.
The receiving corps will again be thin this weekend as rookie Marqise Lee is already ruled out when the Steelers visit Jacksonville.
More injury news from Wednesday's practice included tight end Mickey Shuler held out due to illness and Dwayne Gratz missing as he recovers from a concussion sustained against the Chargers Sunday.

Shuler's absence opens the door for Nic Jacobs who already proved he can quickly find a spot in the Jags offense with a touchdown in his debut.
Another big talking point at practice was comparisons at the quarterback position.
Bortles has a similar body type to this week'sopponent, Ben Roethlisberger, and grew up watching the Steelers QB play.
Offensive Coordinator Jedd Fisch thinks he'll allow others to make the comparisons and focus on Blake being Blake as things move forward.
