JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The search continues for the man who police said shot and killed a woman at a Southside McDonald’s drive-thru line Friday morning.

Her family reached out to Action News Jax and said they believe they know who killed her.

“It has totally destroyed the family,” said Joe Roque.

Even though he’s hurting, Roque wanted to talk to us. He wanted people to know about his little sister, Jamie Roque, 32.

“I loved her with all of my heart,” he said.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said she was in a Southside McDonald’s drive-thru Friday morning grabbing breakfast when a man came up and shot her.

Investigators said she was rushed to the hospital, where she died.

“He snuck up from behind her and executed her,” Roque said.

Police said it’s still unknown why she was shot, but there may have been a relationship between the shooter and Roque’s sister.

Roque said his sister recently got involved with the wrong crowd.

“She got caught up in Jacksonville’s street life,” he said.

And he believes he knows who pulled the trigger.

“She was a good girl, she might’ve been mixed up in some wrong stuff, but she was a good girl,” Roque said.

Now he wants his sister, a mother of three young boys, to know her shooter will be found.

“She’ll get justice one way or another. I don’t care if I have to beat on every street,” he said.

Police said the shooter took off in a white four-door car.
