PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — Troopers arrested a driver they say crashed into a Putnam County house overnight, injuring a 63-year-old resident that was inside.
The crash happened just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday night according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 39-year-old Virginia man was driving his Nissan 350Z south on Lake Como Drive, north of Bent Oaks Lane, when “for an unknown reason’ it ran off the road, hit a fence and then crashed into a house, the FHP crash report stated.
The woman who was inside the house at the time of the crash was taken to a hospital in Daytona Beach with critical injuries.
FHP said the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
