DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — Careless driving is the cause of a fiery crash on I-10 East Sunday night and charges are pending, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to a traffic report, around 10:25 p.m., a semitruck was driving east on I-10, west of State Road 23 in the right lane when it struck a road maintenance truck that was blocking the same lane.

Another road maintenance truck was hit with debris from the collision.
Troopers said the semi-truck continued off the road into the center median and caught fire.
FHP said the road maintenance trucks had arrow boards and proper signage at the time of the crash.
There are careless driving charges pending, according to the traffic report.
I-10 was briefly closed, but has since reopened.
No one was injured in the crash.
Troopers said the driver of the semi was Gary Lupo,47, of Tifton, Georgia.
