There has been another human case of West Nile virus in Northeast Florida.
The latest case was reported in Clay County.
In October, Action News Jax spoke to the mother of a local toddler diagnosed with Acute Flaccid Myelitis – a rare illness that's paralyzing children.
Doctors say the West Nile virus could be the cause in some cases.
Health officials recommend avoiding areas where mosquitos congregate – larger bodies of water – and wearing repellent.
