ORANGE PARK, Fla. — What started as an out-of-county warrant arrest turned into six new felony charges for one Middleburg woman.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said they found multiple bags of narcotics inside a woman’s body cavity while conducting a routine body scan inside the jailhouse.
Deputies were using a scanner like the ones airport security uses when the drugs were revealed.
She was holding 4.9 grams of methamphetamine, 3.5 grams of fentanyl, and 0.9 grams of cocaine, CCSO said.
