Some residents are waking up without power and with downed trees and other damage after strong storms swept through the Jacksonville area Tuesday evening.

The First Alert Weather team reported high winds of up to 70 miles per hour in the Orange Park area. There are still dozens of trees down in roads, and even on homes and cars.

Officials are urging drivers to use caution and be on the lookout for downed trees and power lines through Wednesday morning.
