The crash happened on Ford Road at Buckhead Trail in Nassau County shortly after 4 a.m.
FHP said charges are pending.
The couple leaves behind six children, ranging in age from 8 months to 13-years-old. The boys were taken in by their grandparents who live locally.
Action News Jax spoke with Pastor Jason Stephens at Freedom Baptist Church in Keystone Heights, where the family attended services.
He said the Ulsch’s are being remembered as loving parents who cared about their kids.
“Two parents who are young, leaving behind six kids... the questions asked by many that have written in, "Why would God allow this?" The kids don’t understand and as a pastor I don’t understand, but we can trust God,” Pastor Stephens said.
As a church family, Pastor Stephens said they will be lifting the children and grandparents in prayer.
He said there has been an outpouring of support from the community.
“Keystone, it's a small town with a big heart,” Pastor Stephens said. “That's what makes this this town unique. They come together. They rally around someone that's hurting.”
Pastor Stephens said while you can’t replace their parents, he said he is confident the grandparents will do a phenomenal job raising the boys.
“Their success is, it's going to be attributed to the faith of the grandparents who have already been so active in their life and have done so much,” Pastor Stephens said.
The family started a GoFundMe page to support the boys. If you feel inclined to donate, click here.
Funeral arrangements are still being made.
