A new app for iPhone and Android has officials warning users about potential crimes.

The app, Pokemon Go, was released last week, and allows users to collect the special creatures called Pokemon at real world locations using a GPS.

The free app is digital scavenger hunt.

Police believe criminals are luring their victims with the app.

Police said four suspects, between the ages of 16 and 18, are behind at least 10 armed robberies in the St. Louis, Missouri area in recent days. Officers said the suspects used the app to bait victims.

Last week in Wyoming, a teenager discovered a body while hunting Pokemon.

Police said users are endangering themselves by having their eyes locked on the screen.
