Deadly shooting outside Southside gentlemen’s club

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An investigation is underway after a fight broke out inside Passions Gentlemen’s Club early Monday morning.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the dispute moved to the parking lot on Southside and Beach Boulevard. That’s where the suspect shot a man inside his car. The victim believed to be in his 20s tried to drive away, but hit a JEA utility station near a laundry mat. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

JSO reported no witnesses or suspects at this time.
