Defense attorneys want jury sequestered in Cherish Perrywinkle case

The attorneys for the man accused of kidnapping, raping and killing 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle want to have the jury sequestered in his upcoming trial.

Donald Smith’s attorneys filed the motion on Friday. In the motion, the attorneys also ask to show a picture of Cherish to potential jurors during jury selection.

Smith is set to go on trial on Feb. 5
