Duval Clerk is hosting event to simplify applying for a passport

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Duval County Clerk of Courts will be hosting a passport days weekend where you can apply for a passport during weekend hours.

This is to help people who do not have the time during the week to apply for a passport.

Adults and children are eligible to apply for a passport.

You can also apply for a passport renewal that expired at least five years ago.

The Passport Days event will begin at the Clerk’s Beaches Branch on Saturday, April 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will conclude at the Duval County Courthouse on Wednesday, April 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

No appointments are needed to participate, and customers are invited to simply walk in during program hours.

Passport photo service will also be available during Passport Days program hours for a fee of $15.

Renewal of current passports, or passports that expired within the past five years are done directly through the U.S. Department of State.
