JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 29-year-old man taken to the hospital after being shot Wednesday night, has died, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
At 9:30 p.m., police said they were called to the area of Rifle Run Court, not far from Fort Caroline Road, because neighbors said they heard a “loud popping noise” and found the 29-year-old outside.
The man, who had been shot once, did not speak with police when they arrived and was taken to the hospital with what JSO said were non-life threatening injuries.
