JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — In November, human remains were found in Alabama during the search for missing Jacksonville 5-year-old Taylor Williams. Her mother, Brianna Williams, was named a person of interest in this case and is facing charges of child neglect and lying to police.
According to newly released evidence regarding the death of Taylor Williams, a search of Brianna Williams’ vehicle found that the interior compartment was disheveled and cluttered with clothing and various other items, the affidavit for search warrant states.

However, the affidavit says that the trunk was completely empty, and that there was a rubber liner that covered the entire trunk floor which appeared to have been cleaned. An odor of cleaner could be smelled emanating from the trunk, the affidavit states.
Additionally, the affidavit states that a cadaver dog was allowed to conduct a sniff of the vehicle, and gave a positive identification on the trunk, as well as the interior compartments of the vehicle.
