JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Duval County Public Schools announced the new graduation dates for the Class of 2020 Friday.
Action News Jax reported back in April that Superintendent Dr. Diana Greene said traditional commencement ceremonies in May had to be canceled due to COVID-19.
According to DCPS, feedback from the community convinced the district to plan ceremonies for July.
However, following significant feedback from the community, the district would plan for ceremonies in July.
Information regarding time, venue, guest information and safety protocols will be shared with families and on this platform within the next few weeks by DCPS.
