JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The City of Jacksonville has announced that five COVID-19 testing sites will be opening next week.

1. Clanzel T. Brown Community Center
Located at 4545 Moncrief Rd. this testing site will open Monday, Aug. 16. It will be operated by Agape Family Health from Monday to Friday at 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vaccines will also be available seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. No appointments will be necessary and an ASL interpreter as well as bathrooms will be available on site.
2. Lane Wiley Senior Center
Located at 6710 Wiley Rd. this testing site will open Wednesday, Aug. 18. It will be operated by Agape Family Health from Monday to Friday at 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vaccines will also be available seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. No appointments will be necessary and an ASL interpreter as well as bathrooms will be available on site.
3. Emmett Reed Community Center
Located at 1093 W. 6th St. this testing site opens Thursday, Aug. 19. It will offer both COVID-19 testing and vaccines.
The Duval Department of Health will operate the site from Monday to Friday at 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointments will be necessary and all testing and vaccinations will be done indoors in separate locations.
4. Cuba Hunter Community Center
Located at 4380 Bedford Rd. this testing site opens Thursday, Aug. 19. It will offer both COVID-19 testing and vaccines.
The Duval Department of Health will operate the site from Monday to Friday at 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointments will be necessary and all testing and vaccinations will be done indoors in separate locations.
5. Beaches Location (former Kmart shopping center)
Located at 540 Atlantic Blvd. this site opens Monday, Aug. 16. The site will be operated by Telescope Health from Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will have COVID-19 testing only. Both rapid antigen tests and PCR tests will be available.
Appointments will not be necessary and all testing will be drive-thru only. The site is self-pay and City of Jacksonville reimbursement for uninsured patients will begin upon contract execution. An ASL interpreter will be available on site.
