The Jacksonville Jaguars delayed Thursday’s practice using two hours in the morning to discuss social change.

This comes in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin.

Head coach Doug Marrone released a statement following the meeting saying, “This morning, our players and coaches met for over two hours, and we continued the discussion around creating actionable change in our communities. We will be on the field at 11 a.m. for practice”

Several other NFL teams decided to either not practice or postpone practice in response to the shooting including The New York Jets, The Indianapolis Colts, The Washington football team, The Green Bay Packers and The Chicago Bears.

Blake, was shot seven times Sunday as he tried to enter his car with his three children inside. The video was distributed on social media sparking protests and actions from athletes across the NBA, MLB and NFL.
