JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people were shot near the 2600 block of North Liberty Street, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirmed during a briefing on Monday.
Officers were dispatched to the area around 3:38 p.m. and found the victims, a 27-year-old and a 24-year-old. The 27-year-old was in a life-threatening condition.
Both victims were transported to the hospital. Further details about the victims were not disclosed.

Officers believe the incident happened outside, but they have not determined whether it was a drive-by shooting or not.
