JSO: 2 possible AT&T subcontractors found shot to death on Jacksonville’s Westside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left two men dead on Jacksonville’s Westside on Thursday morning.

Police said they responded to the area 6800 Firestone Road around 6 a.m. and found the men who were fatally shot multiple times. The sheriff’s office said they were found in a small building on the property of an AT&T cell tower.

JSO believes the men were possibly subcontractors who may have been working in the building on Wednesday night. Authorities told Action News Jax that they suspect foul play.

They are working to learn if there are any security cameras in the area.

The unidentified men are believed to be 30 to 40 years old.
