JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is wanted by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office after they linked him as the suspect to multiple armed robberies.
Police say the robberies took place in May and June, adding the suspect approached the register while showing a handgun. A source tells Action News Jax one location was at a smoke shop in late May.
Action News Jax Law and Safety Expert Dale Carson said the suspect could face several charges.
“In a circumstance where there’s multiple events like this, he’s looking at a potential life sentence and a minimum 20 years,” Carson said.
Two photos were given to Action News Jax by police, who say the suspect is about 6 feet with a thin build and dark complexion.
Carson, who has years of experience in law enforcement and the FBI, says the suspect will more than likely continue to commit the same type of crimes.
“People who conduct criminal activities of a common nature typically repeat those same behaviors in the future,” Carson said. “They’ve been successful at it doing it that way, that time of day, that kind of location.”
Action News Jax has requested all police reports in connection to the suspect and the email sent out by JSO; we are waiting for them to respond.
