Mark Nichols, Winn’s neighbor, was shocked when we told him the news about his neighbor Dana Winn.
A Trump supporter himself, Nichols says he doesn’t condone what happened that day.
“That’s federal property. I was in the Navy for 30 years so you don’t just walk on federal property and just do whatever you want,” Nichols said.
According to court documents, both Winn and Pert admitted to being inside the Capitol.
The document says ‘Winn and Pert stated while present at the U.S. Capitol no one instructed them that they could not enter the Capitol building.”
Winn’s neighbor, Mark Nichols, says, “They trespassed you know and that was wrong, not all conservatives are like that.”
The couple was granted supervised release with GPS monitoring today in federal court.
