Man shot on Christmas day

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — At 1 p.m. on Christmas day the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting on the 12000 block of Ft. Caroline Road.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male who confessed he had been shot after he was flagged down and refused to let the suspect use his phone.

The victim was shot in the back by a silver revolver. He is now in stable, non-life threatening condition.

The suspect is described as a male with blond hair wearing a white or blue hoodie and denim pants.
