JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Monday, around 12 a.m., a driver traveling in the wrong lane almost caused a head-on collision.
Florida Highway Patrol says a woman, 62, driving a sedan was traveling the wrong way on State Road 9B in southbound lanes.
While the driver of a van, male, 63, was traveling in the proper lanes, the sedan nearly caused a head-on collision.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and didn’t suffer any injuries.
The woman was later arrested on the scene and charged with a DUI.
