JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police have arrested a woman in connection with a fatal shooting that happened Friday at a home on Jacksonville’s Westside.
Synorae Thompson, 37, is in the Duval County Jail and facing a murder charge, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police said someone from inside a home on Autrey Avenue near Lane Avenue called 911 about the shooting around 4:30 a.m. Friday.
When officers arrived to the area, they found a woman, believed to be in her 30s, who had been shot. She was later pronounced dead at the home by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department personnel.

Investigators say that Thompson shot the woman during a dispute and was arrested for second-degree murder on Friday.
Thompson is being held on no bond and her next court date is set for December 13.
