JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Shad Khan, announced that two home games will be played in London in 2020 Tuesday. During this announcement, he added that the bottom line is his team “really under-performed” in 2019.

Khan said that halfway through the season the Jaguars had a .500 record, winning half of their games. Then, after winning two games in a row and with “Minshew Mania” going strong, the Jaguars lost five consecutive games.

Despite winning two of the final three games of the season and dealing will some off-the-field issues, there needed to be a talk about what is needed moving forward.

“I asked myself, ‘Is this the time to start over from where we were, a game away from the Super Bowl, two years ago?’ My feeling was that we can go faster to where we want to go if we keep things in tact for 2020,” Khan said. “The time to win is now.”
