JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Action News Jax has learned new details about the accused gunman charged in the death of 13-year-old Prince Holland.

This was the second arrest made in Prince’s death. Waters said Garard is the one who pulled the trigger. Police have already arrested Marcel Johnson, who they say was behind the wheel of the car Garard was shooting from.

Garard’s arrest warrant says witnesses talked to police and said that Garard admitted he “sprayed” -- as in shot -- the car that Prince was in along with four other people leaving football tryouts, including his coach.

The witness confirmed the information several times to police, saying the only people who were there for that conversation were him, Johnson and Garard.

The shooting happened on December 3. The warrant says later that night, Garard specifically said he “sprayed that (expletive) up.”
