JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Afsaneh Baghai-Amri was arrested Sunday morning on 175 counts of Unlawful Acts related to the issuance of fake licenses and ID Cards.
Afsaneh personally assisted in providing fraudulent licenses and IDs by using false addresses and certifications exams.
The majority of the home addresses printed on the cards showcased Afsaneh’s home address instead of the person’s actual address.
Over 137 of the listed licenses are listed in the incorrect address.
Afsaneh helped mainly Afghan immigrants cheat on their licenses in order to work and live in the statel
Baghai-Amri was hired by a Duval County Tax Collector’s customer as an interpreter. Two additional felony charges were issued for falsifying information on exams.
Badhai was arrested in Duval County without incident once the discovery was made.
