"It hurts that someone took my son," family speaks after man killed in mass shooting at city park

FRIDAY UPDATE: According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a second victim, a 14-year-old has died after a quadruple shooting at a basketball court Thursday on Redpoll Avenue.

Police have not released the teen's identity at this time.

According to JSO, multiple people were shot and homicide is on the scene at a local park on the Northside of Jacksonville.

Police say 4 people were shot, including a 14-year-old, at a Northside city park on a basketball court.

The teen involved sustained a chest injury and is critical.

A 24-year-old man died. Family identified the man as Titus Mobley.

Two other adults sustained leg injuries and have not life threatening injuries.

“All I know is my baby is without a father right now, and she’s only two years old,” said Tonya McClellan who says Mobley is the father of her 2-year-old daughter. “That’s all I do know.”

Latasha Clark says Mobley was her son. “He’s a good father,” said Clark. “A good son. Anything that a mother could ask for, and it hurts that someone took my son.”

Police say they’ve taken some people into custody for questioning.
