JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The father of a missing infant who is accused in the child’s disappearance is expected in Duval County Court on Thursday.
Police arrested Dwayne Curtis Weedon, 29, this week on several outstanding warrants. Police have been looking for him for more than a month because investigators say he was the last one to see his son, Nehemiah Weedon, alive.
Weedon faces charges of burglary, fraud and dealing in stolen property. He hasn’t been charged in the infant’s disappearance.
The baby was last seen in October 2014 and is presumed dead, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
