More than forty firefighters from the Clay County Fire Department and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department worked to contain a fire at a home in the Oakleaf Plantation neighborhood in Clay County on Friday evening.
Red Cross has been contacted for the displaced family.
Officials updated Action News Jax that two boys were at the home when the fire started.

The boys were able to escape with their dogs, according to officials.
An official with the Clay County Fire Department said the home and two vehicles on the property are a total loss, and that there were more than 18 fire trucks and more than 45 firefighters on scene battling the fire.
The State Fire Marshall is investigating.
