First Alert Weather: Frost & freezes before a slight Christmas warming trend

The First Alert Weather Team says that tonight will be COLD! Temperatures will drop to freezing & below north and west of Jacksonville.

Notes from The First Alert Weather Team:

  • It’s been a cool Saturday with a mix of clouds & sun
  • It will be cold on the beaches, but not as cold as it will be inland
  • A FREEZE WARNING is in effect for Baker/Union/Columbia Counties in NE FL and all of SE GA west of I-95
  • A FROST ADVISORY is in effect west of the St. Johns River in NE FL and all the way to the coast in SE GA
  • Sunday stays a bit cool with clouds increasing by afternoon & winds picking up
  • Onshore winds will bring a few showers to the coast & near I-95 by Monday morning
  • Temps warm up slightly by Christmas Day, with daytime highs in the low to mid-70s
  • It looks like there will be a few brief or isolated showers Christmas Eve & Day, it does not appear to be a washout
  • Better rain chances move in next weekend
  • There’s a lot of uncertainty and a lack of confidence in the long-range forecast (including Christmas Day rain), so stay tuned
