Bud Light chose trans activist Dylan Mulvaney to be a brand spokesperson for a March Madness video campaign.
This sparked major backlash on social media. You can see videos of people destroying Bud Light cans, pouring their Bud Light out, and showing their overall distaste for the beer. Musician Kid Rock even posted a video showing him shooting at Bud Light cans.
Millions of people were clicking on this hashtag on TikTok, and thousands were using it on Twitter. According to cookoutnews.com, Florida was among the top three states trending with the “Boycott Bud Light” hashtag.
We asked if Garner would drink Bud Light beer or not, and responded saying, “Yes, I would. I buy their 55-calorie beer.”
“I don’t drink. Back when I did, I didn’t like Bud Light, but I don’t think anyone should,” Distler said.
