FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — Beachgoers were surprised to see a gator in the ocean at Fernandina Beach on Sunday.
Many people posted photos and video of the gator seen at Main Beach around 6 p.m.
A man with a fishing pole and a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were checking out the gator in the water.
Action News Jax is checking with FWC to see where the gator was relocated.
