BRANTLEY COUNTY, Ga. — Seven-year-old Aiden McCullough and his older sister, 20-year-old Morgan Smith, are very close.
Now, their bond is unbreakable after the boy saved his sister's life.
Aiden jumped into action when Smith had a seizure in the family’s pool in Brantley County, Georgia.
Smith said she was on the bottom step when she started seeing black spots. After that, she doesn’t remember what happened next.
Aiden said his sister fell backwards into the pool. “I was thinking like, ‘Oh, my god. Oh my God. She’s going to die.”

The boy’s instincts kicked in. He grabbed his sister by the hair and held her above the water and screamed for help until the adults ran outside.
Smith said she would’ve drowned.
“I know that there are real life angels because I’m lucky enough to call him mine. I have an everyday superhero in my life,” Smith said.
Aiden is embracing his new role as a real-life superhero.
“I think it’s amazing,” Aiden said. “I will never forget it.”
Smith said she’s grateful Aiden was in the right place at the right time and ready to step in to help when she needed her little brother the most.
“I love you and I’m so thankful for you every day,” Smith said to Aiden. “You are forever my hero and every day I’m only more thankful that I get to call you my little brother. Sissy always loves you.”
