Southbound I-95 traffic in Nassau County is being pushed off the interstate at State Road 200 -- the Yulee/Callahan exit.
US 17 is the main alternate route for both detours.

According to FFS Jax wildfire mitigation specialist Annaleasa Winter, there is no estimate on when the smoke will clear and when I-95 will reopen. The fire is approximately 30% contained and will likely be weeks before 100% since there is no rain in forecast for a week or more.
