ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. — The counter-serve cafe Island Donuts announced it will be closing its doors in Atlantic Beach soon.

The announcement pops up when you visit the store’s website. It says, in part:
“Serving our community has been one of our greatest joys and we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your incredible loyalty and support. You are more than customers—you’ve become part of our extended family, and we will deeply miss the moments we’ve shared with you.”
Sunday, January 26th will be the store’s last day open, but the owners said they hope to get a new store space in the future.

The location first opened in June of 2023.
If you’re willing to take a drive, you can still enjoy Island Donuts’ signature gourmet donuts.
The original location in St. Augustine will continue to serve customers. It’s open daily from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 400 A1A Beach Blvd.
