JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Animal Care and Protective Services announced it will be doing doing discounted adoptions over the Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend.
Adoption is free from Friday through Monday, but a $20 city license fee still applies for people who live in Duval County.

The adoption center is open at modified hours:
Friday, 1/17: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Monday, 1/20: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

All adoptions at the Jacksonville Humane society are also half-off through Friday, January 17th.
