Daboll led the New York Giants to a 9-7-1 record in his first season as head coach. Shanahan led the San Francisco 49ers to a 13-4 mark, including 5-0 down the stretch with third-string rookie quarterback Brock Purdy.

This continues a string of recognition for Pederson this week, as he has also been named the AFC Coach of the Year by the 101 Awards.

The winner of the AP Coach of the Year award will be announced during the NFL Honors awards on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
